CANDIDATES are allowed to BREAK these 6 old RULES NOW.

1) You can not  contact the hiring manager yourself. Of course you can, particularly if you are not hearing back. 2) You should be paid what your last job paid you, or just a little more. No ! But if you focus too much on what you will get out from networking, you’ll miss the mark. People won’t care about you until they realize how much you care about them .
